invitation help needed

Hey girls! I need some invitation advice:

1) we are getting married March 24, 2012. what date should we send out the invites?

2)what date should we make the rsvp?

ok I may need more help with the rsvp cards but I will let you know. Thanks girls!

I am getting married 3/31 and just ordered invitations with a 3/2 RSVP date so we have plenty of time to do the seating chart and favors and stuff. We are mailing them the end of January (probably around the 26th),

You should check with your venue to see when they will need their final count. It differs for each place. You can just count backwards from their timeframes. For example, my venue needs an estimated head count 2 weeks before the wedding, then a final head count 1 week before. So I estimated anytime I would need to track down non-responsive rsvp'ers (about a week). Then put that as my rsvp by date. Hope that helps!

I'm March 24 as well. I'm planning on mailing them January 23/24, and the RSVP date is February 24. It's so close!!!

I'm also a 3/24 bride

We had our RSVP cards printed with a 2/24 RSVP deadline

I'm planning to get them in the mail mid January

That is the EXACT same timing as us.

Mailing them around the 3rd week in January.
March 2nd is the RSVP date.
March 31st is the wedding.

Im march 24th too!!!

We are sending ours out in the beginning of January, we are havening our wedding 3 hours away from most of our guest. even thou everyone knows when the wedding is we just want to make sure people remember to book their rooms.

we are having Feb 18th being our rsvp deadline

Thanks to all my DATE TWINS!!!!!!! haha i was just going to place my order for the invitations and rsvp cards and i thought-i need to make sure i have an rsvp date that is conducive with our date! i appreciate the speedy responses!
