Re: Groomsmen's Shirts/Ties (LIP)

  • That looks really nice!! Are you having your GMs wear tan pants that they already have?

  • i would have, but i don't think any of them had tan pants since they kept asking, what pants are we wearing, lol!  they ordered from here at the suggestion of a friend:

    http://www.weddingtropics.com/men/shop-for-pants-men

the very first pants listed in tan (the only ones that weren't "elastic" or "drawstring").  probably could have found the pants cheaper, but they are already ordered.  at least i saved them $$ on the shirts! if they have the shoes/belt, they are set! lol!

i am hoping that in person, the color of these pants are similar to the "prototype" i used above while in macy's trying to match everything, lol!

  • and thanks ladies!!

i was almost feeling like i should have went the "dressier" route...i am going to have all the guys wear the sleeves rolled up casually.  my groom and i will be dressed fancier, but i think that's okay :-)  did i post my groom's suit??  here it is:

he will wear it w/o the jacket...just the vest, a white button down shirt and tie (with the pants of course, lol!)

we caught the sale and since FI wears suits to work we got him two!  with the sale it comes to $375 per suit, plus the saleswoman gave us a $95 shirt for free!  alterations were about $60.
