Honeymoon and Gas Prices

Are rising gas prices making you reconsider your honeymoon plans at all? We are getting married in northern Michigan in late September and were considering a road trip up into Canada and around Lake Superior but the way gas prices keep rising has us reconsidering. Now we're thinking about a cruise or flying to Miami and staying in the Florida Keys.

The same rise in price is happening with fuel for planes so plane tickets are becoming very expensive. I'd really crunch the numbers before deciding.

We decided to book a Honeymoon Suite for a weekend instead of going away.

Gives us more time to save money and plan for a bigger vacation when we have more time.

Thankfully for our HM in July we booked our flights the october before, if we had waited until closer to we probably would have had to change our plans because the flights went up so much!
