Dave and Busters

Has anyone had or been to a rehearsal dinner at Dave and Busters?  If so, what did you think?  Any complaints or issues?  I am looking for something a little more laid back and fun so this is one of the places I've looked into having our rehearsal dinner.  I have their events packets so I have pricing information and am looking for more subjective opinions I guess.  Any feedback is appreciated!

Side note:  Boo - wonder why my wedding ticker isn't showing up?

I had my bachelor/bachelorette (joint) party there and loved it. And it is SO reasonable. I think we spent like $100 for 15 people to eat.

I didn't want to do it for my RD because I wanted to go and get a good night's sleep, but it is all about what you want, IMO. If you think you would be up for playing games, why not?

They are a bit annoying with their under-18 and under-21 policy, so keep that in mind if you have child attendants or guests with kids.

Oh thats such a good point I didn't even think about - we do have flower girls and a couple teenage groomsmen.  I have their special events coordinator's email - I will have to ask her about that!  Thanks!

PS Yay my siggy is working!

Oh and a little background, my wedding is a Friday night with the ceremony starting at 7:30pm.  Our rehearsal is at 4:45 on Thursday so dinner would be around 6pm.  So staying til 10 or 11pm wouldn't be bad because I could sleep in.

I've been to Eddie's work events there and it is always fun. Their food is decent.
When I looked into them, I thought they were priced too high for the quality of food, personally. But you get the environment for the price too.

I threw a joint bach party that ended there- it was a lot of fun. Do you want to do speeches or hand out gifts or anything at your RD tho? Cause it can get loud. And if you give out gifts, I would get a private room so you don't have to worry about leaving things there unattended while you play games

I bet they have a private room!  Sounds like fun to me!
