Anyone been to the Iberostar Grand Bavaro resort in P*unta Cana? What did you think, and what time of the year were you there? Thanks!

    SIL HMed there in July 2009 and they absolutely loved it.  They had no issues getting beach chairs and thought the food was fantastic.

    They raved about it so much, that my ILs went for spring break at the end of March/beginning of April 2010.  They too really liked it; but they also encountered a lot of spring breakers and their one complaint was that you had to be at the pool or beach early to get a decent spot.

    It's on our list of relaxing furture vacations!

    Going there in June...I have heard nothing but great things about it.  I have stayed at the Adult one in Jamaica (Grand rose hall suites) and the Grand Paraiso in Mexico and they were AMAZING
