  We had a similar guest count and I had read somewhere to assume between 1/4-1/3 lb per guest.  I think I shot for about 25 lbs of items, so I just picked about 8 options, and bought enough to get up to 25+ lbs.  Instead of going by color, though, we just picked our favorites, and H wanted nut options.  We ended up with candy favorites like M&Ms, Red vines, Yorks, and then we had pistachios, and dried fruit.

  It was enough for our guests, but I know the little chocolates went before the end of the night, whereas we had some dried fruit and red vines left over.  I would error on the side of a little more if there are certain ones you and your family would eat after.  Also, pay attention to the size of favor bag you use.  If you pick a larger one, people will fill them all the way up and you'll need a little more.  I bought some simple paper ones on Etsy and punched a decorative trim across the top.  Then people could pick what they wanted to take within reason, and there was still enough for all of our neices and nephews to continually go back up and get crazy on sugar!  ;)
