FYI- I still ditto Stephanie Glover Photography. JLJC was actually the one who suggested her to me, and not only was she reasonably priced, her work is really awesome. She's great to deal with. She just added more photos to my slideshow, click the link in my siggy to see them. I am so happy with them- she captured the essence of the day perfectly.

You have time. Many of them right now are busy with the Holiday season (with things like not just sessions, but albums people want as gifts, many do holiday cards, etc), but once things die down, you will hear back.

I didn't book my photog until a month before my wedding (I had another one, and cancelled on a gut feeling- it was the best decision we made regarding the wedding, hands down). You have time. Try not to stress, and try to be flexible and understanding that this is the busy holiday season. You will find someone, don't worry.

Scalhoun - good luck!!! the photographer search drove me and my FI crazy!! lol. I wanted photojournalism at a good price which was hard to find. Some of them I didn't get to meet with because FI put his foot down when we met with Paul. I would've kept going til I met with them all! lol.

Haha I think that list was right when I first started lurking. I totallt used that list too! Worked out so well for us. We actually saw Kates lens and Leah on that list. Kates lens was great and I totally wanted to go with her but FI and I got into a fight and he didnt like her. So when we met with Leah that was it

Good Luck though Photographers are so important but a PAIN to find.

Hey... I can't reiterate it enough. BlackSilver Imaging. We're using them... They're pretty awesome, pretty reasonable and local. I graduated with one of the photographers, so I've seen her work from middle school till now- she's insanely artistic and an all around fantastic photog.
