We're having a fairly formal wedding but wanted to avoid dealing with the pain of response cards and thought our money could be better spent. So, we're having people RSVP on our wedding website. Most of our guests are pretty tech-savy, our grandparents told us at Christmas that they thought they could figure it out. It was going to cost us almost $2 a person for the response cards and stamps, so that would've been about $220... we're going to put the money towards better welcome bags/baskets.
Terrible idea? It's too late to change it now, but I'm still unsure how all of our guests will feel about this.
Anyone else doing this? If not, but you thought about it, why did you decide to do response cards?
