Where are you registering?

We aren't getting married until August but I'm so excited to get that registering gun in my hand I can't help but daydream about it haha. Just curious where people are registering and what are some good things to register for?

  • Yey!

I'm registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohls and Target. The later two have had some negative reviews on here, but I haven't had one problem.

I can't really help you decide what to register for because I don't really know your situation. This will be my first time moving out, so I basically need everything. Others are more established and perhaps already living together, so they only need upgrades.
  • Macys, CB, and Kohl's. We may add a fourth store because right now the guest list is 300 people and my dad just added another 100 to it preliminarily. I'm also starting out, so we're registering for everything.

  • I went with BB&B and Target.

There's a sticky at the top of the forum with a good list of registry items.

I did read the sticky- my question was more of like a "I never would have thought of that!" question. I know what I need as far as like linens and kitchen stuff, but sometimes people have great suggestions that I never would have thought of, you know?

  • We are registering just at BBB.

One thing I'm really excited that we registered for is a Steam Shark, since we already have a good vacuum cleaner.

  • we are doing Kohls, Bed Bath & Beyond, and my FI is picking either Lowe's or Home Depot.

  • We did Macy's and BB&B. You can definitely register now. I am getting married in July and people have already started to buy stuff for us. However I do know that my shower is in April and my invites are going out soon so my mom pretty much told us we needed to finish up the registries.

  • i did the online route and registered online at amazon its so universal
  • Like PP said, this would work only if you're 100% sure that all of your guests can shop via this route. I'm 25, yet I still wouldn't want to buy you things online. I prefer touching & feeling. I'd find an item on there that's listed in a store I can visit & then buy it in store.
  • We're doing Macy's and BBB, and possibly adding small ones at Sur la Table and Amazon to supplement.

  • We registered at Target, Kohl's, and JCPenney.
  • Macy's, Crate&Barrel, a local specialty shop, and we added Bloomingdale's after Macy's stopped carrying our china pattern and we'd already received two sets.
  • We registered at Macy's.

I keep forgetting but I want to register for a dust buster. I remember we had one growing up and it was so nice for small things to clean up instead of getting out the big vacuum.

I'm doing larger appliances and kitchen gadgets from Target (like mixer, vacuum, etc) and small appliances from JCP (like iron, toaster, etc). Also, I'm getting bedding and bathroom stuff from JCP and decor items from Target. It wasn't really a concious decision, I just like different things (style, quality, price) from each place.
