Looking for a reasonably priced photographer

Hi everyone!

I am looking for a reasonably priced photographer. Possibly under $1,000, I'm not sure if that's possible, it seems like the ones that I've looked into are all priced above $2,000+ which is wayyyy past my budget. I truly hope I can get a reasonably priced photographer with some quality work.

    john loconte from www.johnlophoto.com just over your budget i believe but worth it! he offered 8 hours even with his cheapest package when we used him and you get all rights to the images

    cant recommend him enough! hth

    We used Marcia through Groove entertainment. We did a package deal with them and so we were able to pay alittle less then normal for Photos. We haven't seen the final product but she was amazing on our wedding day. Good luck in your search. My friend used Steve Stedman and he is expensive but very good as well I hear. We couldn't afford him. But Marcia seriously was awesome and we love her style.

    I'm not sure how much our photographer is now but he was very reasonable and we loved him. We used David Bibeault out of RI. I'd book him again in an instant.

    I booked Portrait New England recently. I think their starting packages are around $1k but they are really flexible regardless. We just had our engagement session this past weekend and they were really nice and funny too. We had a great time with them.
    I hope you find someone good- there are some photographers out there who you can get for less and who will still do an awesome job.

    One of my friends is a photographer and over the last year or so has been getting into wedding photography (been a 2nd shooter for several weddings and has done a few on her own).  I'm not entirely sure of her prices, but since she's just starting they shouldn't be too high.  Here's her website if you want to check her out:

    Our photographer was so great and did an amazing job with our wedding. He charges $1200 for a full 8 hour day and you have all rights to your photos that he gives to you on a disc.

    I'm another for Berryphotos.  They did my wedding and people still talk about how much they love my pictures.  They get so many pictures and are just everywhere all at once without ever being in the way.  Every shot - even photojournalistic capturing random things - just had perfect lighting and skin tones.  I really looked into such stuff because I didn't want a photographer who got 10 amazing shots and everything inside on the dance floor dark.  I had Keith and he got every image perfect and I couldn't be happier!  Their website is http://www.berryphotos.com

    Our photographer Heather Parker heatherparker.com is probably over your budget but maybe she has specials. It can't hurt to ask.

    You should check out http://www.westonjade.com. The photographer/business owner is local to me, and I'm hoping to use her for my friend's wedding.  Her pics are awesome, and I think her prices are very reasonable - close to your ideal budget.

    You should check out Ellen Bullock, her prices start at $995 for 3 hours of coverage. She is awesome. Met with her today and can't wait for her to shoot our wedding.

    I would def recommend NH Images Photography ..... check out their website its www.nhimages.com and they offer different packages with an option to customize.... LOVE theiir work!!!! Smile
