Nantucket Beach Wedding

We are just starting planning our wedding and Nantucket is one of our first choices (along with other cape cod locations).
Does anyone have any information/recommendations on the following Nantucket venues?
Galley Beach
Whales Watch Houses
Wade Cottages

Thanks for the help!

For guest to stay at Nantucket inn is a good value on the island. The only thing is it is not in town but has continuous shuttle service. We stay there every year and love it. We wanted to get married on Nantucket but ended up with a beautiful spot in Plymouth. We also looked at the Whaling Museum for a reception venue and to do our vows at Brant Point Light. The Library also holds receptions. If money is a factor Nantucket does have some reasonable priced venues. Another suggestion is to rent a vacation home on the beach and do the wedding there

I only know the White Elephant and that's pretty expensive.

What about the winery?  It's combined now with the Nantucket Brewery. I think the capacity is about 100 and the food is fantastic!

'Sconset Casino is lovely. I am an island native and can tell you that yes things do cost a bit more on island but I am sure you are aware. :)

Our favourite venue is the White Elephant (perhaps a bit biased since it was our choice) which is part of the same company as the Jarred Coffin House. Both are hotels. I believe you could technically have your wedding at the Jared Coffin but its a bit small if you have a big group. The White Elephant has a big deck/patio with a sprawling lawn that works out great rain or shine since the deck is covered a bit like a tented wedding. Harbour views are great. They set up a raw bar for us on the lawn for cocktail hour which got rave reviews. For hairstyling on our wedding day we used both Tresses and Darya (two salon/spas) some bridesmaids went to Darya and we all got great styling. Some curled and down while others had updo's. For a photographer we used Heather Parker Photography and for music we used Sultans of Swing. Flowers were done by Flowers on Chestnut. Its a great little shop and be sure to check out the second floor they have lots of cute things up there as well! Hope this is helpful! http://bit.ly/gsHiWy migh also be useful!

Nantucket is beautiful, we chose Martha's Vineyard instead though - a few more affordable places over there if you want to take a look :)
