i'm definitely not trying to be mean. it's more like constructive criticism about the way she is publicly broadcasting everything.  IMO, a personal and private journal might be less embarrassing to everyone involved.

    That's so weird, Danielle.  I don't think any of us came off mean at all.  I think we were all genuinely concerned.

    I would never put something out on the internet that could be deemed controversial or personal.

    I guess there is a stereo type between the knot and the nest. The nest women seem to think that all we care about on the knot are the details of our wedding.  So I guess the work a relationship takes doesnt count? Living with someone, or comitting to someone is not work accounted for??

    Obviously, her husband didnt stick to their vows if he cheated and she is certainly not sticking to them either by her actions.......

    But anyways, let them say whatever they want to say

    I don't know. I guess I'm mean. I find this entire thing like a train wreck to read... yet I keep reading.  The more I read, the more I think the writer has a lot of problems of her own to work out.

    Thanks for sharing -- that was a good read.  I think she must be talking about the etiquette girls though because none of us said anything about her husband or that she wasn't going through something awful.  We had criticisms on other bases.  

    The more I read her explanations though, the more I think she is crazy for doing what she's doing.  First, I think it is crazy that she's so eager to make the marriage work instead of thinking a little more about whether she should stay or go (in which case she may reach the same conclusion, but at least it would be after thinking about it), but to each his own.  But I also think it is crazy that she's publicizing all of this if she does want to make it work (and her explanation in the thread that you linked to that she started it/publicized it because she wanted to humiliate him -- yeah, that's going to make your marriage work going forward!)

    Also, her writing style.  It bugs me.  A lot.

    yeah, I hope her counseling session goes well or at least gives her a new perspective.  Humiliation isn't going to help matters, that's for sure.
