So I have a bridesmaid and one of my maids of honor (I have three....yeah I know....I'm a weirdo) who have yet to be fitted for their dresses. The store told me they have to be fitted by next saturday (so a week) in order for their dresses to be guaranteed to arrive in time to be altered, etc.
Backstory-
I've been engaged for 3 years. I asked all of them to be my bridesmaids, MOH about a year and a half ago, I told them I'd keep the dresses around $150 and asked if that was okay with everyone, they said yeah, awesome, we have time to save if needed, yadda yadda.
The bridesmaid has flaked three times about ordering because she is low on rent money
The MOH wouldn't text me for two months, then I finally got a-hold of her, she confessed to having money worries and couldn't afford the dress, I said, "hey I'll by the dress, we've been friends for 14 years, it's important you are by my side." She just said, "well I can do saturday I think."
Now....bridesmaid said she is going Monday, she's swamped with work...okay. Works for me.
Maid of honor: "oh I totally forgot about it. Can we do it during the week."
I just responded that I was swamped, which isn't a lie, I really can't do it. If she makes it down there before sat, have them save the size and I'll call and pay for it and order it. She didn't even text me back after that.
I don't want to kick her out or anything dramatic like that, but am I justified to be a little upset about all of this??? I'm just looking for validation that I am not being an over-emotional, "wah I want my pretty princess day and why aren't people doing what I want" bride. *sigh*
That's all. Going to drink wine and vent to my other maid of honor, who is awesome. (at least I've got a few good maids

)
