Band or DJ for Block Island Wedding

Hello,
Does anyone have any great suggestions or recomendations for my Block island Wedding for a band or DJ?  We arent really sure what we want- we dont really like all the traditional wedding music that people usually play- and we want something sort of different.
Any ideas?

    I'm using GQ & The Lady from Boston.  They are traveling to Newport for my wedding.  I know they frequently play at Foxwoods Casino in CT, so I bet BI won't be too out of the question!  http://www.gqandthelady.com

    We used DJ Ramu and the Crew.  He was amazing.  He had great ideas and even did uplighting for us as a gift.  He was a huge hit at our wedding!

    we used kahootz for our wedding and they were AMAZING. people are still talking about them. they are based out of boston but i know someone who got married in block island and has them there. they are awesome. check out their demo video on their website. as a heads up; after initial inquiry, chris always responds better to phone vs. email.
