So, the knot is finally back up and just in time, too because I have to share that we're officially booked! The deposit has now been paid and when Ryan (my amazingly sweet and helpful coordinator at the venue) emailed to confirm the rooms for FI and I, he let me know that our second night in the suite will be at the rate they're giving our guests (not an out of town wedding, but some might want a room given the late party after the reception) of just $149. Our first night is complimentary and he had originally quoted me a rate of $349 for the second night and it normally goes for $499 so I'm really stoked especialy since we found out last week that it's going to cost $150 per kid to rent a tux so that raised that budget by $200 so this put me back on track
FI will be busy tonight addressing envelopes for the STDs (he has the pretty handwriting, I should have been a doctor) and we'll be mailing them off on Monday since our post office is closed on Saturdays and we haven't gotten the stamps yet. I'm still not sure it's sunk in yet despite the fact that I've planned everything around this venue and even have the invites with the date and information on them. I've already cried once so maybe a few more will get it in my thick skull
