Grooms Cake

Hi Ladies!  Well it's been a few years since I have been on this board (hanging out on the Bump these days) :) but I am hoping you will be able to help me.  I am looking for a cake for my baby shower.  I figured I would use the bakery that I got my DH's grooms cake since it was so amazing, but I can't remember the name for the life of me :(  Do you have any recommendations for a great place for cakes in the Hartford or Fairfield country areas.  TIA!!

It might be a little far away, but Kelly's Sweet Rewards makes AMAZING cakes.   They're both beautiful and delicious.  She's located in Brookfield.  I've had her make quite a few cakes for us including our wedding cake, several birthday cakes, a mini version of our wedding cake and a sculpted cake of a giant lobster.  She also did a bunch of cupcakes for our rehearsal dinner.  Definitely take a look at her website and her Flickr page.

Patty Cakes in Rocky Hill is AMAZING!  Patty speaks mostly Italian and sometimes you feel like information is lost in translation, but she does a fantastic job and she is reasonable!  Her cakes taste delicious, are gorgeous, and truly are pieces of art! :) I had my sister's baby shower cake made there and it was perfect!!  She also is a full Italian bakery and she has delicious Italian cookies, cannolis, cream puffs, etc!! Good luck!

Sugarbelle in Glastonbury is amazing. They do tons of specialty flavors and specialize in cupcakes but have amaxing full size cakes as well. I work in sales and I bring these to my clients all the time and they are always a hit!
