It's Starting to Feel Real

Dad reserved a moving van for May 18th.  The plan is for him, mom, my oldest brother and I to head out to Kansas then, with my brother's little car (for gas efficiency on the way back) hooked up to the van, and mom and I driving my car to leave it out there.  Mom and I might have to wait until the afternoon of the 19th to leave if she can't switch teaching a class at work, but one way or the other, I get to see FI, Lord willing, no later than May 21st!!  We'll spend 2 days out there so mom, dad, and my brother can see the town and go to church on Sunday, and then we'll head back with 2 1/2 weeks to go until the wedding.  FI won't get in for the wedding until June 9th, but knowing we'll see each other in May is just amazing. :)

Also...it was in the 60s and beautiful here today...and it's snowing in Kansas...oh boy...

EDIT: Mom talked to her supervisor today and since no one was signed up for the class yet, they're rescheduling.  So, we're all headed out on the 18th!!!

    Starting to feel real for me too! How exciting for you and the big move, and seeing FI! I know FI and I today signed our lease so we had the same "woahhhhh" feeling :)

    I can't wait until it feels more real... I worked on the ceremony programs on Friday and I thought that would feel real but it feels like yet another concert program I have to prepare and print (I do that for work all the time).  I think once we print them and put the ribbon through them, it will be more like "wow, this is actually coming!"

    I'm sick at home again today.  It's hard to picture myself standing in front of 30 teens and pre-teens with a nose running like a track star, coughing up a storm, and a fever still... plus, I wouldn't want anyone to be as miserable as I have been. :-/ 


    July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

    Definitely exciting!!  And don't worry about the snow - we only got like an inch and it's suppose to be upper 50's today, and all this week it's going to be 60's.  Don't worry.  :)

    We find out on Thursday where we're going to live for the next 3+ years!  If we're placed in Richmond, Virginia, we're going to buy a house.  We looked a desks this weekend.  We both LOVE desks.

     I dont come on this board much but just had to chime in. I have 5 days until my wedding and it still doesn't feel 'real' . I went threw a few stages where is ' seemed ' more 'realer' each time but honeslty I don't think its going to feel ' real '  for about 4 more days .

    I still have a feeling I'll roll over the morning of June 12th...realize there's a guy in my bed...and have a "Whoa...this really happened" moment... :)
