tree to hang escort cards from

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to DIY a tree/branch to hang butterfly escort cards from for my butterfly themed wedding.  Does anyone have any advice on where to get a little tree or a branch?  I'm considering save on crafts:

They have both cheap (under $10) branches and $50 gold or silver trees.  Any suggestions on how to DIY or what to buy?

    You could try the diy board. I know a lot of craft stores have fake branch trees that you could use and spray paint.

    I agree with PP.  Micheals/ Joanns and alot of craft stores have 40-50% off coupons all the time and sell all sorts of branches. Also since you might also look at getting a tree maybe go to your local  nursey or even home depot or lowes. You can get a tree you love and maybe even plant it in your yard after the wedding and watch it grow and its probably cheaper then buying branches.

    People tend to have a hard time with the escort card tree because the cards do not hang in alphabetical order and so it can be a little chaotic trying to find your name.  May I suggest a large poster that you can have designed by a graphic designer with a tree on it and then you can take butterfly themed escort cards and pin them to each branch on the poster in alphbetical order.  Or you could simply list the names on small butterflies printed in alphabetical order on the poster so there is a seating chart instead of escort cards.
