Wedding Party Transportation

I was planning on renting a limo for our wedding, but don't know if this expense is in the budge anymore.  Does anyone have any less expensive fun alternatives for a largeish wedding party?  We will be doing pictures downtown between the ceremony and reception, so I think it would be easier to use one vehicle.

All ideas appreciated

    This isn't very formal or pretty, but a lot of vehicle rental companies have large (I think 14 or so passenger vans that you could use and they cost much less than a limo to rent.  Also don't have the same vehicle that brings you to the location wait for you the whole time to pick you up.  That way you're not paying someone to wait around if possible. 

    Sorry I hope this is helpful.  It may not be, but that's all I've got so far...  :)

    We're thinking of using MetroCars.  If you use them hourly, it's fairly reasonable, esp if  you don't get a a sterotypical limo.
