Just read on another board that David's Bridal is having their $99 gown sale through July 23.  Everything they sell is off the rack...it's where I bought mine, saved 83% and only needed a bustle for alterations!  Good luck if this is still the way you're going!

    Thanks so much!  I actually went to DB today and saw a dress I liked a lot.  I'm not sure what to do about it though, because of 2 reasons.  1, the woman basically told me I was S.O.L. because everything takes about 6 weeks to come in, and that they didn't sell "samples" at their store.  I'm a little confused.  Maybe I misunderstood her.  And 2, the dress I fell in love with was $1100- do all their dresses go on sale?

    I think it's just DB's sale items that are $99 and sold off-the-rack, as-is. All the regular gowns would likely need to be ordered in. If you didn't like any of the sale items at David's, some bridal shops sell sample dresses as-is on their sale racks... I would definitely call ahead though to be sure the shop does this.

    In the email that DB sent me, it says EVERY gown on sale, including all designers and new arrivals. It also says that on their site. Dramaqueen, it could be that price you saw was the sale price.
