Engagement Photos

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone has any fun ideas for enagagement photos. I'm especially interested on anyone's advice regarding locations. My fiance and I live in Tempe, but our photographer is willing to go pretty much anywhere in the Valley. 

There aren't really any places that hold too special of meaning for us, so we just want something that will photograph well. Where did you all take your pictures/where are you planning?

    We haven't taken ours yet but I think you could do a lot around Tempe Town Lake... with the lake, the train trestle, the Performing Arts Center... you could get some cool shots!

    We are doing ours at the Scottsdale Civic center with the love statue.

    We did ours about a month ago in downtown Phoenix (we live in Tempe as well). We went to Heritage Square downtown. We started there, then headed closer to Chase field by the train tracks. We also found some random mural/brick walls, but I couldn't tell you where they were at. Our pictures turned out really cute as well.

    Although we didn't go on Mill, I've seen people doing theirs on Mill before. Tons of benches, ice cream/candy shops for props, fun buildings, cool walls, light posts, close to the light rail and train tracks..as well as Tempe Town Lake. We probably would have done this had we not done downtown. Just an idea... :)

    We did ours at South Mountain, and they turned out great. If you want something more urban, I would second the suggestion of Mill/downtown Tempe.

    We did ours on Mill Ave/TTL.  We met and had our first date on Mill, so we wanted to incorporate that in our pictures.  Even if it doesn't hold any sentimental value, there's tons of great photo ops there.
