Wedding Woes

We're getting two

fosters. Right now, the rescue is getting at least one pug a day. (I don't know WTF is going on). They are arranging a mass transit up north for quite a few of the dogs next week. Until then, they need people to really help, so we agreed to take another foster on a temporary basis, in addition to Fonzie.

(Have any of you seen Second Chance Highway on Animal Planet? It is kind of like that. People up north are particularly willing to adopt special needs animals, it is amazing.)

So, I'll have pics of boomerang Fonzie and some new guy/girl soon. And hmo, chances are the panties of shame are going to make an appearance.

Fonzie is coming tomorrow and I don't know when we'll get the new guy. Chances are, we'll take one of the fosters out of the director's house. She has 15 right now. 15. 15 pugs. 15 pugs in one house. <- crazy town.

15 pugs in one house?  does she keep them chained together, like in a dog sled?  because that's the only way i see that working out.

Nope. She has the rooms cordoned off and puts specific dogs in specific rooms. There are the geriatrics, the wild bunch, etc. When Jake was there (when our A/C was out, he ended up being the ring leader of the wild bunch. She said he would have six or seven pugs chasing him around the sofa. I imagine he thought he was at summer camp.

Her house is really sad. On her bed, you can tell she lays on one side of the bed because she has at least three smaller dogs bed on the other side.

WATT?! 15 dogs? Tell me she doesn't leave them all in their separate rooms like that, and that she crates them?

Wow, I thought we were bad, with our 5 and 2 foster puppies.

This is a bad time of year. It's puppy/kitten season, and the economy is still bad. All the shelters and rescues here are full, and having to turn down dogs every day it seems like. It's sad.
