Rosary from Flowers

Hey ladies,
I know that there was a thread on here a while ago about making a rosary from the flowers of your boquet.  I love this idea!  Also, my gramma just passed away yesterday and I would love to make a rosary from her funeral flowers for my mom.

I was just wondering if anyone had done this before?  Who they used?  And how they turned out?  Thank you in advance for any help! :o)

So sorry for your loss, you and your family will be in my prayers. I have not personally made or bought these before, but there is a woman in my parish who makes them, and I believe she uses either ceramic clay or polymer clay combined with the petals of the flowers, and I know forsure she bakes them, but after that, I have no clue what to do. Here is a link to a google search I did http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GGGE_enUS379US395&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=how+to+make+a+rosary+out+of+flowers&safe=active

     Hope that helps!

Sorry to hear about your grandma :(

This is who I'm using: http://www.rosariesfromflowers.com/default.html

I can't speak for the quality, as I have not yet received my rosary--they told me it would be about 14 weeks from when they received my order and flowers. Go to their order info page, and it gives very specific instructions on how to pack your flower(s)--they only need one--and has a form to fill out, and you just mail it in!

So sorry, Shawna.  Your family has been through a lot lately!

I think this is such a lovely idea though.  Definitely would love to keep this in mind.  I'm not big on keeping preserved bouquets, but this is an amazing way to preserve it!

Thank you guys you are all so wonderful!

aghouston-I don't think I would be talented enough to make one lol (that would turn out bad for me)  But I didn't realize you could make them yourself...that is a great idea.  Too bad I have no sort of talent in that area what-so-ever lol

KatieAnnie- When yours comes back will you let me know how it turned out?  :o)

Stardreamer and monkesip-  I actually had never heard of this before either but I read about it on this board from months earlier. I thought it was a great idea :o)

Haha, I'm not talented in the department either, so I would probably forego trying to make one on my own. I'm sure it isn't that difficult, but I wouldn't want to screw it up either.
