San Diego To Far?

So I found THE dress, and happened to be in San Diego, the closest place that sells THE dress and bought it.

BUT should I have them alter it? and have to drive down there multiple times before the wedding? Or should I take it to someone up here to have altered?

Ive driven down there a few times, the drive doesnt bother me, but will it be too much closer to the wedding?

    Personally it'd bug me, and not doing alterations thru the shop can save some money (not to mention the cost of gas). I personally wouldn't, but it would be do-able if you decided to.
