Seeing everyone so excited for our wedidng- it really made it feel real.

5. What did you not like about your shower(s)?
The room was a bit cramped but that was no fault of anyones- except for the people who showed without RSVPing.

6. Were men invited to your shower(s)?
No, FI really wanted to bring me to the shower though, but logisitcally it just didnt work out.

2. How many people were invited to each shower? 65ish

3. How many people came to each shower? 45ish

4. What did you like best about your shower(s)? Intimate, lots of family and relaxed environment. We did it in a rec room in my cousins condo complex. People made and brought food. It was great.

5. What did you not like about your shower(s)? The disorganization of my friends/family before the shower. I felt like I shouldn't have know about the problems they were having with each other.

6. Were men invited to your shower(s)? No. Although, I think a jac and jill shower is a great idea!

1 REALLY, BUT MY CO~WORKERS DID THROW ME A SURPRISE BRIDAL LUNCHEON AS WELL

I REALLY DON'T KNOW ACTUALLY

MAYBE 35/40 AT THE MAIN ONE, 7 AT MY WORK ONE

HAVING SO MANY PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT IN THE SAME ROOM

NOTHING REALLY, WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

That because 4/5 of my BP were totally delinquent, no one offered to plan OR help in ANY way with regard to a shower; one BM insisted she pay for the *whole thing* (my mother could not, at the time, contribute much at all) as this BM really wanted me to have a shower. My mom, this BM & I planned my whole (modest) shower. Then-FI & I picked a location, my mother & I picked out favors together! :-/

NO one helped with decorating (I mean SIMPLE, like a few BALLOONS) except the BM (who came 7 mos pregnant AND with her 2 yr old from Boston....talk about effort and FRIENSHIP!

) & my mom.

For the other attendants (except the one unmarried as of yet cousin!) I feel I did everything to insure they had special showers, etc.

Yeah, I guess I"m still bitter.

No but MH wanted to take pics so he stayed the whole time!

4. What did you like best about your shower(s)? Everything, it was awesome

5. What did you not like about your shower(s)? I wish it was longer, I had such a great time.

6. Were men invited to your shower(s)? No, but my brother did drop by to say hi!

I'd say about 40?

4. What did you like best about your shower(s)?
Having everyone there- it was a good prep for the wedding day- I learned you won't ever have enough time to talk to everyone as much as you want.

5. What did you not like about your shower(s)?
The drama- I knew far too much about the drama surrounding the shower w/BMs etc.

6. Were men invited to your shower(s)?
Nope- my DH refused to come in with me, but he came later on to see everything. Apparently my dad was there before I got there, helping set up.

I like that it was small and intimate. It was also good practice for the wedding. Im not too fond about being the center of attention

5. What did you not like about your shower(s)?
Too many corny games. I also had to listen to all of the girls complain about each other during the planning process. My mom and dad were even complaining about my FILs. I agreed with most of the complaints but it wasn't my place to get involved and I did not need the added stress.

6. Were men invited to your shower(s)?
No, my dad was extremely upset that my FMIL kicked him out ahead of time. He wanted to stay and see me come in. He ended up hiding a little down the raod to wait for me. (The place and time were a surprize) My FFIL and FBIL were there when I came in. All of the guys then took FI for a little bachelor party and out to dinner.

2- One thrown by my bridesmaids and aunt, and the other was thrown by my department at school.

2. How many people were invited to each shower?
Maybe 50 to the family shower?

3. How many people came to each shower?
40- family
35-40 school

4. What did you like best about your shower(s)?
I really wanted to have my bridal shower in a home. My aunt has a beautiful home and hosted the family shower. I loved how intimate it felt and the significance of having it at my aunt's house. Also my aunt suprised me with homemade Chilean empanadas (I studied there in college)!

5. What did you not like about your shower(s)?
Nothing...everyone planned such thoughtful details.

6. Were men invited to your shower(s)?
No men for the family shower. Men were invited and came to the school shower.
