OK, so I have a confession to make...
I played hookie from work yesterday with my FI. He had some vacation time already scheduled and I was slightly jealous. I felt overwhelmed with stuff to do, so I called in to work. But, on the plus side we had a productive day!
We went ring shopping and we found my ring! Yea!!! I love it. We got it at Kay which is the same place he got my e-ring at. It looks like they were made for each other. There are 5 prong set diamonds that line up perfectly with my 3 stone e-ring and matching channel set stones on the side. We got it on sale and we are under budget! WOO HOO!
He tried on several as well and we have narrowed it down. We were just so surprised at how expensive his were! The cost of gold has risen SO MUCH! We figured mine would be more expensive because I had diamonds, but that is NOT the case. The cost of gold is only going up...ugh!
Also, our videographer (David at Trinity Wedding Videos) emailed me this weekend and told me that if we hadn't sent out our STD's yet, he wanted us to do a STD video with him for FREE! He said it was something they were bringing back and he's offering this promo FREE to all new inquires. This was such a God-send because we weren't originally going to send these, but recently FI's mother insisted we do, so we were scrambling trying to put something together, so it couldn't have been better timing!
We met David yesterday afternoon in downtown SP with our dog, Doxy, and walked around the park, by the marina, at Moon Under Water (which is where we had our first date), and ended up at the Lyceum where we are getting married. It will take about a week to get back and I am so anxious to see it. He is going to make actual DVD's that we can send out as well as add a link to our wedding site.
