As you can see from my ticker I am 7 months away and I went on my first dress appointment in July. I still haven't ordered my dress and I'm thinking about waiting until December.

Is that too late? I don't wat to pay rush fees lol When are you ladies getting your dresses?

    I was told that it takes at least 4-6 months for your dress to come in unless your buying off the rack. My advice is to order as soon as possible. You are 7 months away from your day. You dont want no unforeseen circumstances to occur and you dont have enough time to deal with it without completely freaking out.

    I order my dress in July and im getting married 05/25.  Most bridal shops wants a 8 to 10 month window to order your dress so that way you can have time for altreations and/or changes. Also with it being holiday time they might be backed up, some places close down for holidays. So I think you should do it now. Most likely if you wait til Dec/Jan you probably will be paying extra fees.

    I would order ASAP. Those rush fees are not a joke. Depending on the designer and style you could be waiting 10 months to get the dress and that doesnt include alterations

    I would order ASAP as well. You want to make sure you are completely hapy with your dress. If you have to rush it that leaves less time for error.

    I would order ASAP. I ordered my dress for my november wedding on 1/31. It came back June 15th. I go for my 2nd fitting on Friday and I have 30 days left. However, I would say hurry because depending on the bridal salon you go to they may still be waiting on the Spring collection to come in so you may have a bunch of Fall / Winter gowns to look at. Luckily the spring stuff was just coming in for me.

    Don't worry about that. That's what alterations are for! My dress was falling off me when it came back, but I'm sure it is going to fit like a glove now!

    yes... run to that dress shop... But make sure you leave yourself enough time to find EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT... and not feel like you're soo rushed that you have to settle...
