I want to do lavender bouquets for the BMs but it is hard to find.

    Your florist should be able to find lavender for you. You can also buy lavender plants from a local nursery and cut the stems yourself. I suggest using commercially grown lavender that you buy from a florist, though. It has preservatives and chemicals that will keep the stems fresher longer out of the water source.

    It depends on the time of year you are getting married and where you are located.

    I have two humungous lavendar plants in my garden. They keep getting bigger every year, and I need to split them. If I cut them back, they grow again later in the summer, into the fall.

    Check into online websites for fresh flowers along with local florists in your area.

    I found a local farmer at the farmer's market whom I will likely use as my lavender source (I'm using lavender and rosemary to accent the bridesmaids' bouquets and using for the reception centerpieces).
