I want to do lavender bouquets for the BMs but it is hard to find.

Has anyone seen or used lavender?

  • Your florist should be able to find lavender for you. You can also buy lavender plants from a local nursery and cut the stems yourself. I suggest using commercially grown lavender that you buy from a florist, though. It has preservatives and chemicals that will keep the stems fresher longer out of the water source.

Good luck! email me if you have more questions. (I'm a florist and a bride! :) )

  • It depends on the time of year you are getting married and where you are located.

I have two humungous lavendar plants in my garden. They keep getting bigger every year, and I need to split them. If I cut them back, they grow again later in the summer, into the fall.

Check into online websites for fresh flowers along with local florists in your area.
  • I found a local farmer at the farmer's market whom I will likely use as my lavender source (I'm using lavender and rosemary to accent the bridesmaids' bouquets and using for the reception centerpieces).
