Photobooth reccomendations

Anyone use or using a photobooth at their wedding? We really want to have one, but aren't sure where to start. Any suggestions? We're trying to spend under $1,000 for it. Thanks!

If you haven't booked a DJ yet, I would check out some of the ones that have photobooth packages with them.  It would be much more budget friendly that way, and it's hard to mess up a photobooth, so the quality with any good company would be the same as anywhere else.

I know the DJ we used has a photobooth option... or you can book just the photobooth,  and it starts at $500...  I think their main/big package is $800. Discounted rates for booking with/through the DJ company too.

They're good people to work with...  very professional, and husband/wife team that really love what they do, and care about their clients.

Great idea, Syndelin... Just checked my dj's website, and it doesn't look like they offer photobooths... neither does my photographer. :(

Well you could email Let's Pose...  it's still less than $1,000, and like I said, they're an awesome company for sure.  =)

The photographer I'm using does photobooths - we aren't using it, so I'm not sure how much they are, but I know they've got them!  They have a website if you want to check them out:

That's so funny! I was just about to recommend the same company! Rachelle is actually one of my very best friends, we've known each other since we were in 6th grade. She did all of my engagement photos (check my profile, I have a few posted). Rachelle is one of my bridesmaids, so Raquel will be the photographer for the wedding and we'll have the photobooth as well. I highly recommend them, all biases aside, they truly are amazing at what they do! AND their photobooth is awesome!

I just met the guys that run The Pix Box a couple weeks ago, they were really nice and have a great setup. You can customize your photo strips to have the name and date of the event on them. For weddings 2 photo strips get printed, the guests get to keep one and the other one goes in the bride and groom's wedding book. They even bring fun props too so you end up with a lot of great photos! I know on their site the full pricing is $900, but they may have other options too. If you talk to them tell them Vanessa the makeup artist from the roller derby referred you! Good luck!

I used A2Z Photobooths and they were amazing!  Mine was slightly more than $1000, but I am pretty sure I did not pick the cheapest package and I added on an extra hour, so check them out and see if anything is in your budget!  BTW, the photobooth was probably one of the best decisions I made, the guests loved it and the memory book we got to keep with pictures and notes from our guests is awesome!

So, I've decided to go somewhat of a DIY route for this after all... I was inspired by Martha Stewart (she has a template online) and a local photog's "photo stage"... I'm going have my own backdrop printed and set up... Then, since it's only an extra $300 to add a an extra photographer, I'll have them set-up at my photo stage... Add silly props and a chalkboard, and I'm sure it shouldn't cost more than $500... Everyone can go online after the wedding to order their pic if they want to. Not as fab as a photo booth, but I think it'll still be fun :)
