Caterer Referrals Wanted!

Hello ladies!

We're trying to find a caterer for our wedding and would love any referrals you can offer! We're on a tight budget so the less expensive the better! We live in Denver but are getting married in Granby.

Thank you so much! :)

Catering by Design is doing my wedding in June.  I struggled to find a caterer who wasn't flaky and still affordable and I'm really happy with them.  HTH

we tasted 2 really reasonable and really delicious caterers - one that does all organic BBQ and sides, and one that can do pretty much anything.  They were 7.50-8.00 per person (we went with the non-BBQ one).

bbq: oinks bbq, bobbi and mason capps - bobbi@oinksbbq.com
other place: creative cuisine by shannon dixon - creativecuisine@q.com

We are using Greens Point Catering - they worked within our budget and they are So Helpful and responsive (i email her all the time with completely random questions about timing, flowers, toasts, first dance, greeters and she answers all of them with great advice!)and she has helped me think of all sorts of things to help me plan my wedding and are going to be coordinating our wedding day etc.

Their food was yummy at the tasting and they also did my friend's wedding (they would come get the couple and say "it's time for first dance" or "time to cut the cake" etc) and I seriously would've had trouble planning my wedding without them, specifically Susie! Our wedding is in May so I can let you know more after my wedding but hearing about them from my friend's wedding and seeing how helpful they were with my friend and now how Susie has worked with us through this whole crazy process...I would definitely check them out. If you use them let them know Naomi recommended Susie if you want the same coordinator :)

Try biscuits and berries. I attended a bridal show where they had catering samples and it was amazing! they can customize anything to fit any budget as well.

We  are going with Biscuits and Berries and they are wonderful! We met with almost 15 caterers and they were by far the most professional, had the best food and came up with such great ideas! They can work with your budget and are very helpful! Good luck

i had an absolutely terrible experience with biscuits and berries.  seriously, HORRIBLE customer service, completely unprofessional - scheduled a tasting with specific dishes and they served us completely different food, emailed/called us repeatedly to "follow up" but when we would call or email back we were completely ignored and could never actually get anyone to talk to us, etc.  just wanted to share since our experience was obviously quite different than others.

You know I have had HORRIBLE experiences with some caterers that others have raved about and I really think it is all timing. Every caterer you meet with is going to have people that love them and people that hate them. You really have to just talk tto each one and see if you click. We thought Biscuits and Berries was by far the most professional and we felt the most comfortable with them.
