What to wear to a tasting?

This may be a stupid question but I have my tasting this Thursday and was wondering what we're supposed to wear.  Dress clothes? Jeans? something else?

    I wore jeans and a sweater probably. Something casual.

    Does your venue have a dress code?  Will you be eating in a restaurant part of the venue with other diners (and if so, what is the dress code for that restaurant)?  I wore a sundress because denim wasn't allowed at the country club where we had our reception.  Otherwise I definitely would have worn jeans.

    I dressed casual... just jeans and a sweater.  FI were the only ones there so it wasn't a huge deal.

    Oops I was just thinking of our cake tasting.

    For the tasting at our venue, they held it during an actual wedding (upstairs from the wedding).  Just so we blend in with the guests at the wedding, we had to dress formal as if we were going to a wedding.

    thanks girls!  that's what i was going to wear but i didn't want to show up under dressed and be all embarrassed

    I went from work so I was in work clothes, MH went from work too, but he wears jeans, didn't really matter. I think if our tasting was at a restaurant attached that was "fancier" it would have been different.

    We came from work so we were dressed nicely - dress pants etc..

    I have my tasting tonight actually and I am wearing leggings and sweater. Fi is wearing jeans and button down.
