Is this the procedure for under eye bags? I don't have any experience with it but 2 months out; I think it's risky considering it leaves you pretty bruised.
  • I have no idea what this is either, but if it's what mcda mentioned I wouldn't do that before my wedding, no way.
  • OP, can you give us a little more info?

I've had my tear troughs filled before due to fat loss under my eyes that gave my eyes a sunken look. I think you're fine two months out - I went to a skilled doc and had no bruising at all afterward. Even if you were to bruise, it's doubtful that it would last more than a couple weeks - something would have to go drastically wrong to get bruising that would last longer than that. Just make sure you lay off anything that could thin your blood in the 48 hours before you have it done - ibuprofen, alcohol, etc.

<div>Mouriful - I had a great experience with fillers.  Mine lasted well over a year, and I had absolutely no bruising or other side effects.  As far as "risks" are concerned, if you go to an experienced injector (a dermatologist or plastic surgeon - NOT a med spa), they are minimal.  You don't need anesthesia or other sedatives that could increase risk, and if the doc knows what they're doing (they understand facial anatomy), you don't need to worry about bumps, bruising, etc. I think the real problem with cosmetic procedures like fillers is they sometimes end up in the wrong hands. </div>
