I spent the weekend home in Pgh for a baby shower but got some large checks accomplished and have just been on a roll in general lately...
On Friday my mom and I went shopping for her MOB dress and found the perfect dress for her (
clicky)! We ordered it in salmon. She looks like one hot mama:) My dress also came in so I got to finally try it on after a 7 month wait! Unfortunately, my mom has the pictures so hopefully I can get that and post soon. I also got to meet the VP of Maggie Sottero:) Very sweet person and made me feel like a million bucks in my gown...although I'm sure she's trained to do that;)
On Saturday, my aunt and I sat down to design the invitations. They will be a pocket invitation with 4 flaps, one of which will hold the inserts. I'm excited to see what she comes up with for the final product! My sister and I also started making the bridesmaid jewelry (pics to come soon).
Everything else:
-ordered bridesmaid dresses (
clicky)...all one color, pewter
-bought wedding shoes (

-bought fabric for my sister to make bridesmaid clutches
-appointment is set to meet with travel agent next Sat to plan honeymoon to Italy!
-selected meal choices and set tasting appointment for Easter Monday
-pre-marital counseling continues
-finalized guest list and mailed STD's
-figured out cake design with my mom (lucky for me, she makes delicious wedding cakes!)
Whew! I think that's it for now but I have so many more little things to keep working on. Under 6 months...the countdown is on!
