Well, the wedding day went off without a hitch. I don't think it could have gone smoother!
Thanks everyone for your time and input over these last few months. I have a couple of reviews to give.
We had a really nice intimate wedding with 73 people. We had it at Mapleton of Good Counsel in White Plains. It is not glitzy and it is not a mansion, but it was perfect for us. Caperberry Events were the caterers and the food was fantastic. I am only sorry I didn't get to eat more of it! I would highly recommend them for any event. They happen to be the exclusive caterers of this venue, and I couldn't have been more pleased. The Maitre d' was amazing, saw to every detail and made us feel like royalty!
The photographer Nick Carter was great. Not pushy, perfect blend of ideas and listening. We had a very small bridal party, just one each. My only regret is that when I said we only wanted pics of eachother outside the venue, he didn't insist on one with my matron of honor. It's all on me though, not him. I can't wait to see the final pics. I am sure they will be beautiful.
The DJ was fine, nothing great, but I think it had more to do with the venue than the DJ.
Lulu's cake was amazing, so glad we changed bakeries!
Anyway, thank again for all the insight and advice throughout the planning process! It is over now, and it was a wonderful day!
