Wedding Woes

s/o dressing your FMIL

When FMIL asked me what she should wear to my wedding, I told her she could wear whatever she wanted.  Later she accused me of trying to make her look stupid b/c she is supposed to match the wedding party.   Undecided

    HA!

mom also wanted to know what to wear.  don't worry, mom -- everyone will know that you are the mob because you are a giant attention whore.

Your MIL is a trip Cali.

MIL wore the same dress as SIL's MIL at SIL's wedding.  (This was before my time)

She asked me if I cared if she didn't buy a new outfit for my wedding.  Which I didn't.

I asked FSDIL if she had an opinon.  She was kind enough to tell me what colors the bms are wearing and what color my corsage will be so that I can avoid and coordinate.  I asked her if she was cool with black or if she would take it as a sign of our everlasting sadness and disapproval.  She was cool with it, but I'm still trying to stear clear, if possible.

I didn't tell MIL what to wear and to my immense surprise she did not choose something matronly/old ladyish. She looked fabulous, and did not accuse me of anything crazy.

    WINNING.

6 - I have four dresses hanging in my closet.  I had good intentions of taking pictures while my niece was here to help but then never got around to it.  I don't think H has the patience to help because he already picked out his favorite and doesn't understand what hte big deal is.  I'm not in love with any of them and still plan on doing some shopping once we get into town just to see if I can find something perfect.
