Pleasant RSVP surprise.

So yesterday was my RSVP date cutoff and we didn't even get one in the mail. And of course we are still waiting on about 21! I don't get how people can be so inconsiderate with these things.

But then, I get on FB this morning and see I have a friend request and a message. I check the friend request first and it is from my FI's childhood best friend in PA. So I accept him, he is such a nice guy. Then I check the message, its from him. He was letting me know that their RSVP will be late but he wanted to let me know that him and his wife are coming down for the wedding. I was pleasantly surprised that for 1 they are coming and 2 he made the effort to let me know.

    aww i know! i had about 20 that didnt respond! i got on facebook and messged each perosn individually!  so I had a few more responses via fb (one of my friends never got an invite but got a std) so not sure what happened there because i never got it back. hopefully u hear back from the rest soon! and so glad ur friends from PA are coming

    We received about 8 RSVPs 2 days after the cut off date so hopefully you will get more tomorrow.  I agree, don't understand how they can't return them, especially when they have a stamp!   Glad to hear good news about the guest.  I received 2 of those and it made my day.

    That was nice of him to at least let you know. I agree, I think it's so rude to not respond to RSVP's. We put stamps on them for a reason people!
