Workout Accountability: Wednesday

Good morning!

Last night was pretty much all leg exercises (lunges, squats, jumps, leg press,  and calf raises) and then the elliptical and abs.  Tonight will be a 3-5 mile run.  I think I might increase my speed tonight, or try to anyway.  I've been stuck at the same mile time for awhile and I think I can push myself to go a little bit faster. We'll see!

How did everyone else do?

  • Wish I could say I worked out but nope!  Work always gets in the way and then the 1hr+ commute to and from does not help.  I've decided on a weekly more manageable goal of going at least 3 times a week to the gym. if I do more like I want then great, but if not I'm not going to kick myself over it.  Thankfully I do a lot of walking during the day!
  • I went on my lunch break, and did arms, shoulders, back & abs, just a 20 min workout, but today Im feeling it.
  • I wanted to get 60 mins in on the bicycle last night but we had friends over for dinner and they ended up staying till midnight! Not only did I not exercise, I also didn't get enough sleep :(

  • Elliptical for 40 minutes and incline treadmil for 20 mins this morning! I actually ran into a girl I know at the gym and we worked out together. It was nice having someone there. Hopefully will be making it to spin class tomorrow morning!

  • No workout yesterday bc I was sick but did get to the gym earlier today for a short walk/jog. Didn't want to overdo it. Hopefully will be back 100% tomorrow
  • I went and played tennis for an hour and a half. I am glad that I have routes to do at work because I average 300 stairs a day and about a mile walk. It helps. Then I go to my friends house (who convieniently also watches my son) and we work out for about an hour. I have a year and a half to my wedding and i want to be back at pre baby size.
  • It was rough but I made it to my spin class this morning!

  • Did the 55 minute p90x shoulders/arms/abs. Have a meeting to go to or I would have done more of the abs workout. Feeling proud of myself anyway. Any exercise is positive!

  • Good work ladies!! :-) I have been out of the loop this week so I have some catching up to do! Monday I did well with food and a cardio kickboxing workout. Tuesday was okay, trying to adjust to this new job where I will be sitting most of the day so I did a leg workout in the morning and then I walked for 30 min at lunch. We had a department white elephant christmas party at buffalo wild wings so I did the best I could at dinner with grilled chicken. But then today happen.... I did run 5 miles this morning but I feel like it was totally negated by all of the food at work today. Oh well I will get back into the swing of things tomorrow.

  • Congrats to everyone on their accomplishments of the day!  
    This morning I tried out the Pilates video I used to do years ago.  I did a 20 minute workout.  It would be fine if I were close to my target weight and wanted to work more on toning, but I am still just beginning with weight loss.  So, my limited time would be better spent on a workout that actually gets my heart rate up.  The one thing I can say for it is that it made me conscious of my abdominal muscles ALL day!
