We had this made for us as an alternative to a guest book. It's a thumbprint tree. I love it!

And...

Our invitations arrived today!! I was so excited I went ahead and put them all together and am going to mail them out on Monday. So many of our guests have been asking about the hotel and airports and all that jazz I figured WTH I might as well just send them out

I'll throw in my AW of the day...last night I checked my e-mail and....I WON A FREE DAY OF COORDINATOR (actually 3 of them lol). I entered a contest and they said they were choosing winners on Saturday so I figured we didn't win, but we did! I'm so excited! All they want in exchange is permission to blog about the wedding and a testimonial, and who doesn't want their wedding blogged about!? I'm so thrilled, I won't even be in the town where the wedding takes place until an hour before the ceremony! I'm so happy I won't have to depend on my family to set up everything, I didn't want them working that hard!

The only con is now I need to gather a ton of lists and paperwork because these people need to see my plans, I can't just keep my plans in the wedding file located in my head, ha! I have two weeks before my consultation, hopefully this will kick my butt into gear and get me more organized.

brit - that's awesome!! we hired a DOC, i just didn't want to be stressed out on the day or have my mom rushing around like a headless chicken. winning one is even better!

I just wanted to say that my middle name is Frances too! I think you're the first middle name twin I've met, haha. I always hated it because kids would make fun of it and say it was a boy's name but it's my great grandmother's name so I've learned to love it.

The invites look great, BTW

I like having a unique middle name! You might not like it, but at least it's something different than the normal "Ann", "Lynn", or "Marie" that EVERYONE seems to have for a middle name. My middle name is Taylor and I love love love it because it's pretty unique.

that's so funny i've always hated it too, because its my grandfather's middle name! but like you as i've gotten older i've learned to appreciate the meaning behind it :)
