Indian Springs Country Club in Marlton

Hi I am new to these boards.  I am newly engaged and looking to get married on October 23, 2010. We checked out two reception sites already.  One at the Westin Hotel and the other at Indian Springs Country Club.  The Westin was beautiful, but seemed like a wedding factory.. They can hold up to 3 receptions at once, so we felt that we would not be their top priority.  Indian Springs was beautiful as well, we would be the only reception there and the prices were really reasonable.. I am leaning with going with them, but feel that maybe I should look at more sites.  Any recommendation on sites? Has anyone ever used Indian Springs Country Club?

Congratulations on your engagement! I just got married on 10/23 of this year...you picked a great day!!! I have been to weddings at both venues you visited and they were both wonderful. I must say that I liked everything at the Westin better but that's just my opinion. The wedding I attended there was the only one that night so you might luck out and there won't be any other events. We wanted to be top priority as well and booked at the Riverton Country Club. Everything was FABULOUS!!! The food was amazing and the service top notch! Definitely check it out! Lauren was awesome to work with. Let me know if you have any questions or want more information.

Congratulations and welcome to the board! Though I am not having my wedding at either of the two places you mentioned, I did attend a wedding at the Indian Springs Country Club two years ago and it was amazing! Good luck!

Congrats and welcome to the board!! I have not been to a wedding at either but looked at both for our reception site. I liked Indian Springs more than the Westin. That is just my opinion but I loved the stair case there and how the back deck off of the main ballroom looks out onto the golf course. I recently went to a wedding at the Westin in Princeton that can also have more than one wedding. They made sure everything was taken care of even though there were other weddings going on you would not have known it. If you feel confident in going with either of those places then go for it. If not and you are wondering what else is out there then I would definitely look around. I was very picky with my reception site, I practically went to majority of places in central/south jersey based on what I was looking for. What type of atmosphere are you looking for, how many guests, etc? We might be able to help with recommendations if we know a little more info.

Congrats on your engagement!! 1st let me say that when you know this is the place you want to get married, you know! My fiance and I only looked at 3 places and I just knew when I saw it!    As for Indian Springs...thats a wonderful choice. My future sister in law got married there Aug 08 and it was beautiful. Everything went so smooth, the food was great and the people were so nice. They made her the center of everything and took care of everything so she didnt have a care in the world on her special day!   Good luck on your planning, hoped I helped you a little

Thanks for all the feedback.  We decided to go with Indian Springs Country Club.  I couldn't get out of my head that this is where I wanted to have it at, so I booked it today:)

Congratulations!  And welcome to the board.
I got married almost 2 weeks ago and my reception was at The Westin in Mt Laurel.  I have to say, their service was outstanding!!!  My husband and I both were so impressed with the service we recieved that night that we are planning to go back there this weekend to tip our maitre'd (not sure if I spelled that right).  The food was amazing and the staff was so helpful to us throughout the whole night.  Everyone has commented to us how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food and the service were.
Our wedding was on a Friday night so we were the only wedding going on that night but I really think we would have had the same excellent service had there been other events going on that night.
Indian Spring is a beautiful venue also, I live very close to there.  This may sound really dumb but the thing that kept me from consiering them is that there bathrooms are not very nice.  Not sure if that is important to you or not.
Good luck planning - it is so much fun!  I think I will miss wedding planning now that my wedding is over.
When it comes down to it, you need to pick the venue you feel the best about.  I would recommend looking at Riverton County Club also, they are beautiful and have reasonable prices.  They were my second choice.
