rehersal dinner recs

Anyone know of any good restaurants around City Ave in Philly?  I actually live in De but we are getting married at the Valley Green Inn in Fairmount Park and we are staying at the Hilton on City Ave.  Ive been up there a few times but mostly what I see is chain restaurants.  Any good ones or other recs??  Thanks so much!!

    If you are okay with a 15-ish minute drive, there are a bunch of really cute places on Main Street in Manayunk.

    In Manayunk, the Manayunk Brewery & Burbon Blue have space for private parties. But I would think Main St in Manayunk or somewhere on the Main Line would work better than anywhere on City Ave.

    We just booked our rehearsal dinner at Manayunk Brewery and are very happy with the packages and the space.  Good luck!

    thanks so much guys!! Im definitely going to look at Manayunk Brewery.  It looks like Manayunk is the way to go!
