Good morning ladies!! Hope everyone has had a great week! Today is my last day of off-site meetings, and the third straigt day of eating out for every meal, yay!! My AW is that I tlked my DH into doing a bride & groom session with the McGowans since we didn't get many pics ofmthe two of us together. Trying to determine location and we'll be booked, woohoo! --> Secretly excited girl to get to wear her wedding dress again!!

Yay for more pics!!! Are you going to get hair and makeup done too??? FI is a photographer and he is going to do my Mess the Dress pics after we get married. It's a shame he wont be able to do my bridals though... AW: I've slowly been selling stuff on EBay and Craigslist to clean out my life and I sold a 6 year old Palm organizer (way before smart phones) for $40! Paid $90 for it in 2005. Man, people will buy anything...

That's great, Kylie! I'm hoping H and I can do that for my birthday/spring break in March. Professional AW: yesterday I had a meeting with a mom who told me her daughter talks about stuff she learns in my class nonstop. It was a nice sign for a girl who had pretty much given up on finding a teaching job in Pampa.

No real AWs for me, other than we're doing Engaged Encounter this weekend. Not totally sure what to expect, but I've heard it helps with communication (not something we really have a problem with) and I think it will be interesting.

Had dinner with one of my BMs last night and we started brainstorming for my bachelorette, which she will probably have to plan bc my MOH (younger sister) has pretty much checked out of it already... great.

Kylie- YAY for B&G pics! Can't wait to see them!

Kathleen, I loved our first touch. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. And then rounding that corner and seeing him for the first time at the end of the aisle? Oooh.

Edit: Kristan, we really enjoyed our EE, even though we'd been dating for six years and had had those big conversations, it was still nice to just sit and focus on ourselves. Are you going through the diocese of Dallas?

I think first touches are a great comprise to having that moment before while still keeping the suspense up! I think FI and I are doing a first touch/prayer before the ceremony (got the idea on pinterest)

I think we're going to do a first look. FI was really against it at first but he's liking the idea more and more so we'll see.

Also, we booked our honeymoon this morning!! I'm super excited. We're going to Excellence Playas Mujeres a week after the wedding.

Kylie - I am considering having a B&G session for our first anniversary... I can't believe that's coming up in a couple months. I feel like we just got married yesterday!

I was going to do it this summer, but never got done to doing it. And now, I am going to bite the bullet and do it. I think that we are going to book with p31eleven Photography. She did a friend of mine's wedding and I really love her work... and I'm really excited to be able to wear my dress again too!

I love the behind the door first touch! I think it is always so amazing (and makes for great photography- love the photos on pinterest with this).

FI and I are doing a first look (unfortunately not by choice). Our venue charges an arm and a leg for extra hours, so we are doing all of our pictures beforehand to cut down on cost. We are also doing a day-after session the week after so we will get more pictures then with just the two of us.

FI and I are actually going to go walk around downtown this weekend to figure out some good places for pictures. I am hoping we can find the perfect spot.

We are doing a first look. My photographer and I have walked the Magnolia and picked a few different spots to do it, including indoors if the TX weather decides to be not-so-nice come wedding day...

Did you guys see the pics of Kylie's First Touch? So beautiful and when I watched the video of it, I teared up--actually just that moment alone would be worth getting video, IMO.

Don't go away Stephie! Guess I should probablymtransition over to TN? Anyway, I LOVED every moment of our first touch and bawled through it, and completely agree with Stephie regarding our video, that moment alone shown in "motion" was worth every expense of the videographer! That said, we didn't devote enough time to just Matt and I after the ceremony to get any really good pictures of us the night of the wedding. We were to excited to get to the reception. @cwaggoner - I will probably just go to Origins to have my make-up done. As much as I'd love to have Christie do it again, that's not finally smart given I'm already going to have to pay for my dress to be cleaned, again. As for my hair, there's a girl on pinterest I follow and with one of her tutorials, I can get my hair to look pretty close to as it did for the wedding. Excited to hear everyone considering it, more pics to look at! And YAY Amanda for the awesome props to you for your classroom skills!
