Venues on western side of Denver; pictures?

Hey all! My fiance and I are very interested in having our wedding/reception around the Red Rocks area. We love the city lights AND mountains. So my question is, have any of you explored any, or been to weddings, and do you have photos?

We've browsed through Willow Ridge Inn, Christy's of Genesee, Mount Vernon Country Club, etc.

TIA!

also, red rocks has a chapel where you can do the ceremony-not the reception. i've never been to a wedding at either-but i've seen pix, very pretty.

Never been to a wedding at any of those venues, but FI and I did check out Mt. Vernon CC for our wedding.  We thought it was nice, and had a unique view compared to other country clubs, but it was still a country club and that why we didn't go with them.  We weren't interested in country clubs, but we were told that those who don't like country clubs, tend to fall in love with Mt. Vernon.  We didn't fall in love, but it was nice and we've recommended it to others. Their staff is super friendly and helpful.

Other suggestions are Boettcher Mansion, Chief Hosa Lodge, and the two Crystal Rose locations on Lookout Mountain.

We are getting married at The Pines at Genesee this upcoming September. And my coworker actually got married there a few years back and LOVED it, which is one of the reasons we went with that place.  Their food is really good, and the views of Denver are amazing :)  Good luck on your search!

Boettcher Mansion is great and they allow you to bring in your own caterer and alcohol. Big money saver! We're getting married there next September.

I am getting married at the Willow Ridge Manor at the end of this month.  The location is amazing and even comes with Gregory your own wedding coordinator!  I will let you know how it goes but I can't wait!
