XP: Sam's/Costco Flowers

Hello everyone,

OK, for anyone who has used Sams or Costco for BM bouquets, how did you go about putting them together? Did you let the flowers sit in water for a day and put them into bouquets the next day? Did you put the bouquest together on the day the flowers arrived? What kind of ribbon did you use? What did you use to de-thorn any roses? I'd appreciate hearing anything you have to offer. :-)

    We let them sit for a day in water.  We used an ice chest to have something big enough.  We then assembled them on Thursday night  (for a Saturday afternoon wedding) and put them in vases and pitchers with water.  We did NOT wrap the stems until the day of the wedding.  If you wrap them ahead of time and put them in water the ribbon will absorb the water even if it's not actually in the water.  I just used satin ribbon from Hobby Lobby....I think it was 3/4 or 1 inch wide.  We bought flowers from Sam's for both my son's and daughter's weddings and they looked wonderful.
