I was going to post this in the Friday thread, but I felt this warranted a separate AW thread...
I GOT THE JOB
After an entire year of job hunting, interviewing, getting rejected, not hearing back from principals, trying to work around my current job, I finally got a library job in a local school district. I can finally put my Masters degree to use.
I'll be floating between 2 different elementary schools and I get to teach 3rd graders information technology instruction. My FI went through this school district so I feel like it was meant to be.
Goodbye sh*tty office job! Hello 30% raise! And ANOTHER huge bonus.... the timing works out that I can stop working here the week before my wedding and have the rest of the time after the honeymoon to get settled and start lessong planning and organizing *MY* libraries!
Thanks again for all of your positive thoughts and encouragement!! You girls are my favorite.
