How far in advance did you have to book Aleksandra Adams to do your wedding party makeup?

    I don't know about how far you have to but I booked her in december for my may wedding

    I booked her at the end of June this year for my June 2, 2012 wedding. I was concerned because I know June is a popular month here. And I wanted to get my makeup done for e pics :)

      I just booked her earlier this month for my wedding this Saturday. I lucked out because my original MUA flaked out. She may not be able to do my makeup the day of my wedding, but will send her assistant (who has been apprenticing under her for 3 years) in her place. When I did my trial, she took lots of pictures and notes to give her assistant so my makeup will look the same in case she can't be there.

    Did it take her a long time to get back to you guys?  I emailed her about 4 days ago and haven't heard anything yet.

    Yeah she's not so great with the communication.  Give it time and then send her another e-mail.

    And also to the PP who is having the assistant to the makeup - I actually liked my makeup better by her assistant (Katrina).  So you don't have anything to worry about!

    I talked to her last Wednesday and she said that she was leaving for Europe on Thursday for her honeymoon. Could be why she hasn't responded.
