what the heck?!

usually i am losing a pound a week...slow but better than nothing....but i didnt lose a pound this past  week,  got frustrated pigged out :( and lost weight?! WTH?

    Haha, I love when that happens.  It's because you essentially shocked your system.  When your body takes in something that it isn't used to processing (like an excess of fat on a normally low-fat diet), it goes into overdrive while, in simplest terms, tries to figure out 'what the heck to do with this stuff!?!'
    That being said, it doesn't work multiple times in a row, and can also come back to haunt you a day or two later on the scale, so make sure to keep working out and drinking water to help your body burn off the rest of the pig-out food.

  • thanks for the info...i am waiting for it to come back and haunt me....i wonder if i am gaining muscle and that is why i am not losing?
  • There's a good chance depending on your workout routine.  What are you currently doing?

    And it won't bite you too hard if you keep up the water and calorie burn!  Make sure, also, not to try and compensate for it today by severely lessening your calories - just return to your normal routine.

  • i do cardio and weights 5x a week for a hour total
