  How flexible is your date?  Since you don't have a venue, I would advise you to think about being flexible with dates.  Securing a venue solidifies a wedding date.

  Unfortunately, the wedding date is picked around the venue.

  When I first got engaged we picked 3 possible dates and worked with those based on our venue of choice availability.

   

  If you are set on that place, can you pick another date?
