May + Outddor + Cleveland?

Hola,

Recently engaged and planning our wedding for next year. Is May out of the question for an Outdoor Wedding and tented reception in Cleveland?

We are touring our first location tomorrow moring - Sandusky off the water...

I prefer may because its sooner than later and May is more avialable.

Thoughts?

    May is iffy.  Even late May you can never tell if it is going to be 90 degrees or in the 50s.  If it happens to be a rainy year in the 50's, be sure to have a backup plan

    We're using Deluca's Place in the Park in Lorain the first weekend in June.  They have a beautiful outdoor pavillion that is pretty weather proof.  It's all open sided, but if it rains it has vinyl walls that come down to keep out the water.  It's surrounded by tall bushes and trees and flower beds, so wind shouldn't be an issue, and it makes it really lovely.  They said the only thing they can't control is the temperature.
