Bridal Shower Music

I have no idea on what kind of music or songs i should play for the bridal shower.

mostly it will just be my friends in town as all of my family and his are out of state...but its held at my church hall and there will be a few of my family members there (gma and a few aunts maybe)

umm food wise nice finger foods nothing heavy.

there is no theme its just the same colors as my wedding red, black and white.

soooo help?

    Most of the showers I've been to are pretty simple.  At the most recent, they played the Sleepless in Seattle soundtrack.  I wouldn't even have known that, though, if someone hadn't asked.  I really didn't notice the music.  We ate chocolate dipped strawberries, cheese and crackers, and punch.  There were no decorations, really, unless you count a floral centerpiece and some purple plates & cups.

    I couldn't tell you a single song ever played at a shower, including my own. Mine was just two weeks ago, and the restaurant just had some sort of mix music. It was just more or less background noise. As long as not offensive music, no one will notice.

    But, that being said, do have some music. I went to a baby shower Sunday and there was NO music. Some lulls were kinda too quiet!
