My FI and I already bought our wedding bands but I was missing it, so I took it out to look at and try on again. While I was trying it on, I noticed a big difference between the diamonds in my engagement ring band the diamonds on my wedding band. I had previously known that the diamonds on the wedding band weren't that great, but I thought it would be fine. Well I couldn't believe how noticeable the difference was... how did I not see it before?

The diamonds on my engagement ring are VS1 and VS2 whereas the wedding band diamonds were I1 and I2. It was really bugging me... So we went back to Jared today to look at wedding bands again and we found the perfect one. It is from the Hearts Desire collection and it's gorgeous. So we exchanged them, even though the Hearts Desire ring costed more... but we both felt it was right decision.

    LOVE your band with your ring. Very pretty

    This is just an online photo of the band that would go with my E-ring. We will eventually go back to the jeweler who built my ring and have him make the band to go with my E-Ring. :)

    I'm having a really hard time picking my band because my ring doesn't allow them to sit flush against my ering :/

    hisbabygirl76, are you planning to wear those on different fingers, or will they both fit on one?  They are very pretty!

    My ring is from Blue Nile, and there is a matching band, so i'll be getting that.

    Does anyone have to get a plain ring for the ceromony?  I think I'm supposed to get married in an un-adorned gold band, so I'll probably borrow my grandma's wedding ring for that.  I think thats what my sister did.  Plus hopefully that will bring good luck..My grandparents have been maried for 65-70 years :)

    lalans they would fit on the same finger. the jeweler is going to make it so it sits right under my e-ring.

    I have the option of adding another band to mine, but I didn't like the way it looked when I tried my ring on with another band so I'm keeping my ring the way it is :-)

    lalans: are you jewish? my mother is and i know that when you are jewish you can't have a ring with stones.
    agancedo: i had to get a curved band to fit with my ring.

    I have my ring and my FI's ring, but we don't have any pictures :/  We're leaving them at the jewerly store for a while until it gets closer to the wedding.  Then we'll get them sized.  This way we don't have to add it the insurance for a while.

    My ring has a specific band that goes with it. This shows SORT Of what it looks like, but i got my ring from Robbins Brothers and their version of this ring (by Simon G) has  custom cut below the head, so it doesn't require that rounded section of the band. So it's that kind of thing cut, but sits flush with my ring, instad of being rounded in the middle. It will sit right under the halo of the engagement ring.

    Mine is also a smidge different than that pic in that I have a cushion stone, instead of round.

    The designer of my ring has many wedding bands that can go with it, so I have a pretty good idea of what I want. We're not going to pick out anything until probably January of next year. FI wants to design his ring, so that should be interesting!


    I want something like this except with only diamonds halfway. I don't want diamonds all the way around. I'd be afraid of losing them!

    I just started looking into the curved rings. I found one at Kays but it was even more expensive than my ering lol, and as for enhancers I haven't found any that work so far. I'll upload my ering picture tonight for the siggy anyways so you ladies have an idea. Me and FI were actually talking about it this weekend and we've decided to start looking into some other stores since mine is proving to be a mission lol. As for FI he knows basically what he wants and we might buy it soon as he was asking why I hadn't gotten it yet lol

    I just have a plain white gold band with a slightly beveled edge so the gap at the stones on my engagement ring isn't so noticable. I've always wanted a non stone band as my wedding ring. I think my FI was surprised and almost wanted me to have a blinged out band, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets me one someday as an anniversary band.
